How very cool to read this about you - I read previous '7 entries' but didn't follow up sidewards/backwards through the branches of the tree (many on my list decided not to do theirs, or not yet).

Anyway, only known you from through LI, postings in communities here and there so it was a real treat to read this.

BTW I was really fascinated by your Hajj, I did the Camino de Santiago in Spain and won't ever be the same either!

Take care, see you out and about on the 'net.

When I got tagged, first I thought "Oh, no,..." but it was quite interesting for me, too, to reflect on my 7 things and read about others'.

I liked working in the darkroom, too, but only when it was black & white and when it I could be creative. When I was an apprentice, one of my jobs was to develop films and pictures of the traffic police who used them to write speeding tickets.

Mamia RZ67 was the first medium format camera I worked with. My first 35mm camera was a completely mechanical Nikon but I could depend on it. I hope 2009 will be the year when I resume my hobby. I already have a project in mind... :-)

RE: Seven Things About Me

Nergiz ... we have a connection it seems. I love photography, too .... I used to have my own darkroom in my house were I processed my black & white a color (with Jobo) photos. I used to shoot with a Mamiya RZ67 medium format and a Pentax 35mm cameras. Nowadays, it is strictly digital and not so serious. I too used to leave without the camera sometime to make sure that I experienced the day through my body and mind rather than the camera.

Thanks for sharing your 7 facts and tagging me ... it was an interesting read and write task that got me very reflective at the start of the new year. See you inworld soon. --Frank (Salty)
